as the days goes by
It's already Thursday and it doesn't seem that I've accomplished to finish up stuff that I'd planned to do. I've been lazy and I have yet to start walking again in the evenings with Ryan. The weather isn't helping either as it's all nice and sunny when I'm at the office and by the time I get home, it gets overcast and drizzles off and on. So with that I'm putting off exercising all together and simply just staying at home; being lazy.

Open house

Sunday started off nicely. We slept in, watched some TV before I got ready for my drive out to Mililani for the open house. Ryan left first to go meet his teacher for his Hawaiian class and then I took my time to get ready. I even had time to burn a music CD as Ryan has taken or should I say "borrowed" 3 of my other mixed CDs. Anyways, I finally get to Mililani and I thought I had some time that I could go to Walmart first but decided oherwise and continued to head to the house. Lucy pulls up behind me and we meet with the owner. The house was in mint condition as it was prep perfectly for the open house. We put our signs visibily along the streets and one big sign on Kuahelani Avenue. It was a good turnout as we ran out of fact sheets (the pretty ones) and by the end of the day, we were ready to head home. Lucy and I managed to have some time to read, water the plants, and talk stories when no one came to view the house. By Monday we'd gotten three offers in and more realtors calling for an appointment to view the house.

office

The newsletters are all done and in it is the insert with our new office address that will be mailed to all of Milton's clients informing them of the move. Next I'll have to revise the announcement letter for our rental owners, tenants and vendors. Not something I'd enjoy doing but I'm getting more excited as it gets closer to August. We might get to move in sooner as the construction work being done at the new office may complete earlier than scheduled. The painting is scheduled for this weekend and the new carpets will be put in next week upon completion of the paint job. So far only Milton and Lucy have seen the new office space, so we're all hoping we might get a glimpse of it before the actual move-in.

at the apartment

it's been a lazy week and staying glued to the TV until bedtime doesn't sound all that healthy. By the time I get home from work, I have about half hour to relax and unwind before getting dinner ready. We usually have our "grubs" in front of the TV, and this week we watched "North Shore" on Monday, "Barbershop" on Tuesday and "Scent of a Woman" last night. Besides being a couch potato, I'm still trying to reorganize the apartment for better space and make it look nice and presentable. It's also time to clean and clear the kitchen and bathroom area but I'm so LAZY!!!
