So I finally get an email reply from my mom two weeks after I wrote to her, with her apologizing for not replying sooner. She has been busy at work and by the time she gets home, all she wants to do is relax and not do anything else. Anywaes she continues to tell me that my dad loved my gift to him for Father's Day but there's a funny story to it. My dad received a card in the mailbox from the postal person about my package and he keeps it in his shorts back pocket. He completely forgot about it until Sunday, when he put his hand into his pocket, pulled out the card and went to ask my mom about it. My mom took one look at it, saw the date and gave my dad this "look". She'd ask when he'd received it and he said "ohh isn't that the card from before for the birthday package Consuela told us about?" Mom continues to give him the "look" and said no because when you pick up a package you are suppose to give the card back to the person at the post office. Dad scratches his head, continues to think that he's right here and then finally a "light bulb" clicks as my mom describes in her email. So my dad goes to the post office on Monday, the day after Father's Day to pick up his gift and my mom finishes to say luckily my dad had asked her first and didn't throw the card out. Mom said that dad was either being silly or just plain ole forgetful! I just think that he's finally showing signs of old age!
Another lazy weekend
It was yet another lazy weekend for both Ryan and me. We stayed in at home the most of Saturday, only going out to buy take out food and on Sunday we did our usual run to Circuit City to buy more DVDs, drove out to Kapolei to visit Ryan's grandpa and then a final stop at Sam's Club to pick-up my digital photo prints. We started to watch first season of "24" on DVD since we finish watching season two of "Alias". We still have yet to watch my "Gilmore Girls" and Sex in the City" box sets and we will start as soon as we're done with "24". The "Taste of Honolulu" was last weekend, made plans to go on Saturday but became lazy so w postponed it to Sunday but we couldn't make it because we didn't get back into town until about 5pm and found out that it ends at 7pm. We were tired, sleepy and lazy so we decided not to go after all. We were planning to cook chili but instead we bought food for dinner, as I was too lazy to cook or do dishes.

"So you want to know me? Romantic and logical ~ Loyal and always true ~ Funloving crazy and very quiet when needed ~
Sensible and down to earth...to sum it up, I guess I'm pretty much a "nice girl", hopefully in a good way, who's also a bit of a geek"
Here I am as perfect as I'm ever going to be.
You'll see, love me for me.
Stick around, I'm not the kind of girl you wanna leave.
You'll see, love me for me.
