SHOP 'TIL YOU DROP

That's what I did the past holiday weekend! We drove out to the factory outlets at Waikele Friday evening, and I bought 2 pairs of skirts from Banana Republic and from Bebe, I got a tank top and a skirt. Only manage to browse through that side besides GUESS and NINE WEST, and we were on our way home. I did more damage on Saturday when we returned to Waikele along with Ryan's parents'. They were in Honolulu for the long holiday weekend and so we spend most of our weekend with them as well as with Ryan's relatives. So back to shopping, I spent more money at the outlets only and leaving me not very much to shop more at Ala Moana as I'd gone over my budget. So what did I get? 3 tank tops from the Ralph Lauren Store and a handbag from COACH. But since I haven't shop for myself in a long time, I decided to spoil myself and just splurge! I shopped some more at Norstrom Shoes and bought 2 pairs of NINE WEST dress shoes. And finally ending the shopping spree yesterday at Costco, where I'd bought Season 2, 3 and 4 of "SEX IN THE CITY". It was on sale; $19.99 for each of the seasons and I'd already have Season 1 & 5, so that completes my collection at the time being before they have the complete full series Season 6 on DVD. Was going to get "FRIENDS" too, but that will definately hurt me until I get my next paycheck in about 9 days or so (LOL!) Will have to put some heavy thought to that!

Besides shopping, we did eat out alot too. On Saturday, we woke up early to pick up Ryan's parents' from the airport and we headed out to Anna Millers in Pearlridge for breakfast. Then we drove out to Waikele, and then to Kapolei where we had KFC for lunch. We rested the afternoon away at Ryan's uncle Glenn's home before heading back into town for dinner at Kabuki. After dinner we went window shopping at Ward Warehouse, Nordstrom Rack, Norstrom Shoes and Ward Center. On Sunday, we went to Zippy's for breakfast before heading out to Ala Moana Shopping Center. Lucky thing I already went there 2 weeks ago, so there wasn't really an "urge" to shop some more. Then we drove out to Pearlridge Mall and we did stop by Circuit City as Ryan wanted to buy some DVDs but then decided not to at the last minute. I was simply refaining myself from spending at all. I'll probably wait another month or so before I shop again. We ended the day with some Chinese take-out that Ryan's parents' bought and headed back to Kapolei for dinner.
