NEW SKIN

it's been long coming forth. I've always wanted to make changes to my blog page and decided that today will be the day for a new feminine look; so am presenting the new skin and layout. Not completely done yet, am still trying to figure what errors I have made because it shows on the status bar - "done, but with errors on page". Ohhh, how frustrating! But other than that, I think I'm pretty satisfied with the new look. If you have any suggestions or opinions, please do let me know.

HOW THE DAY WAS SPENT

work has been really slow today. My boss has left for Maui for the weekend to meet up with clients to discuss their financial portfolios. So since there's no work to be done at the office; hence the inspiration to work on my page. It's been decided that we will be moving offices in August. It was scheduled for mid-July but found out that the contruction to rebuild the office layout for us won't be done until August 7. So until then, we'll wait it out at the current location and just everything packed at it gets closer to August. I like the new office location; it's at the American Savings Bank Building on Kapiolani Blvd and it's right in front of Ala Moana Shopping Center. I'm all excited and really looking forward to the new office space.

RENTALS

We still have about 8 rentals available or coming available; and the majority of calls we're getting is mainly for just one property which is located at lower Kalihi (past Nimitz Hwy). It's like every other second, when a call comes through, the person on the other end is asking for th Kalihi rental. So you will hear me repeating myself as though how a CD skips on the player. By mid-afternoon, I'm ready to scream and say that "ALL RENTALS ARE TAKEN AND HAVE A NICE DAY!" There are several things that can ticks me off when people call in for our rentals - 1. when I ask which area the ad they're calling for is in, they say "I Don't Know"! I mean, seriously how does one look for rentals or ads in the newspaper? Don't you go by a certain area you would be interested in looking at? 2. pets; all of our rentals don't accept pets and it's stated in the ad. I have people asking me of a certain property, I give a detailed description and finally the last question is "do you accept pets?". It's a wasted energy explaining the property to finally have to say "sorry no" and then hang up. Seriously people, there aren't a whole properties in Hawaii that accepts pets so please make it a point to make that a number 1 question or learn to read an ad more carefully before calling. I can go on with more but I won't as it will take up an entire page and I don't want to bore you or myself.
