After work yesterday, R and I drove to Dole Cannery to watch Casino Royale on the big screen. R's a huge fan and he's watched the last 6 James Bond movies on opening day. The movie was fantastic ~ action sequence, breather, more action, breather, action again, breather, and even bigger action ~ and I had my doubts in the beginning as I'd still preferred Pierce Brosnan over Daniel Craig, however he did a splendid job and I'm now convinced he's a perfect choice for the part as I really enjoyed the movie!! Not giving out too much details (or just stop reading!!!), the plot covers how a network of terrorists are financed through the stock market and gambling, and how they are ruthless in ruining the lives of anyone who stands in their way. It also tells of Bond falling in love for the first time and turning bitter over his loss. Go watch the movie...I promise you'll enjoy it eventhough you're not a Bond fan.
