As I'd mentioned in my previous post, I had a friend from Malaysia here on the islands for vacation along with her friend from Japan. They arrived Saturday morning and after taking them to the hotel to check-in and get settled, we drive off to Waikele to spend the rest of the day shopping at the outlet stores. It was fun yet a tiring day...and we parted ways a little after 6pm so they could rest and recuperate from their trip. We'd planned to meet Sunday morning for our day excursion around the island however it got cancelled because of the earthquake. It's too bad that the quake had to happen while they were here on vacation! We did not meet up again until Tuesday night for dinner along with Ritsuko and Ryan at Likelike Drive-inn. It was a fun night filled with delicious food, good times and great company. It was good seeing you again, Yukako (hugs) and it was nice to meet you, Yukiko. I wished we could have gotten together more; however I hope you guys had fun while you were here and will be able to plan another trip to Honolulu in the near future! Aloha ~
