It's been several weeks since I last met up with Ritsuko for our usual "dine out" experience and decided to get together for some catching up! I had one class at school yesterday (I wish I could have skipped class but I had a group presentation) plus I had to stay to meet with my group members for another class to go over some stuff for our presentation next week. What is it with group work and presentation for the MBA program? I mean, it's cool we get to meet 3-5 new people and work together but heck, it's hard to find time where EVERBODY is free at the same time less alone the same day to meet and commit those several hours to go over the assigned project. I hate group work...simply hate it! Anywaes, getting back to my meeting...it was a short one since one member was not able to make it because he had to go to work at the very last minute. I got done around 6.30pm and then made my way to go meet Ritsuko for our dinner date at Hale Vietnam. It's this nice and cozy Vietnamese eatery in Kaimuki. We get there a little before 8pm, it's pack and a short 5 minute wait for a table. So as usual, we get busy and start taking pictures.

Once seated, we order summer spring rolls for our appertizer, 2 medium bowls of Pho (Vietnam's classic beef noodle soup) and to end the night with a banana & tapioca with coconut milk dessert. Can you say YUMMILICIOUS!!!??? We didn't have to wait too long as service was fast, efficient and our food was served at a timely manner. I enjoyed the spring rolls the most with its peanut sauce...I savored every last drop (LOL!!) We talked about almost everything ~ what keeps us busy when we're not out experimenting with a new restaurant and even tried to compared with other Vietnamese restaurants to see who served the best Pho.

After dinner, we headed into Waikiki to walk around for a little bit before heading home. It was yet another fun night! Looking forward to next time...and I hope it will be soon enough (smiles)
