Is truly strong! Okay so it's been a while since I travelled back home to Malaysia, but after calling around a couple travel agencies...I'm so ready fo' cry! The last time I was back in KL was back in 2001 with family and friends, enjoying my mamak maggi-mee goreng (with the mata kerbau telur goreng) & teh-o-ais-limau, and not knowing where I'm suppose to be going or be because of new buildings or one-way streets! I truly miss those moments. One thing I did not enjoy was the weather...it's too hot and humid for me. I got scoldings from my mom; saying that I was born and raised in KL, how can so fast cannot tahan the weather? I was speechless!
So now that I've decided that I will be going home, airfare tickets have also gone up in prices. When I was home last, I remembered paying about USD620 approximately for my airfare via Japan Airlines. It has gone up since to about USD780. Granted I prefer and will only fly Japan Air because I get to do some sight-seeing and stay overnight in Narita. Otherwise, I can save and pay a little lesser (not that much also, save about USD60) if I choose to fly China or Eva Airlines. So there you have it! If I'm a true Chinese, why won't I just travel on either of those 2 airlines? Nopes...I'm still would choose Japan Air because I'm spoiled and I also get to go shop at Waikiki DFS (3rd level where you need prove of airticket so you can shop). Also, after calling around the many...many local travel agencies, the airfare is quite reasonable...it's the airport tax that is H-I-G-H! Damn1t!! Okay...okay, so I can hear everyone saying...what's the problem then? I guess got no problem lah, I just wanted to vent because I will have less spending money back in KL, plus I will need to leave some over here with Ryan to cover rent and bills. I guess I can ask Daddy (if I behave and stay on his good terms) or worst go to Mommy (and listen to her nag first - go in one ear and go out the other ear). Or better yet...anyone wants to sponsor my trip home?
