The weather was just perfect. Yes it was still cold but the sun was up and we had clear blue skies! It would have been a nice day to just stay indoors, under the covers in my comfortable PJs but we did not want to waste the day away. How was your weekend and how did you spend your Sunday?
Did you watch the SuperBowl yesterday? Which team were you rooting for: the Indianapolis Colts or Chicago Bears? R and I drove to Waialua to watch the game with his dad. I am not a football fan plus I don't know the game all that well so I didn't care for it. Instead, I made myself useful and went away to prepare lunch ~ steaks and cream corn. As I seasoned the steaks with garlic salt and ground black pepper, R and his dad went outside to prepare the hibachi grill ~ a small cooking stove heated by charcoal. As we all patiently wait for the right heat and temperature, before placing the steaks on the grill...I find myself another photo-taking opportunity. As you can see...I had some fun (just don't mind the mess in the backgroud).
Back to the game...I only watched the Super Bowl for the ads and the one I liked best was the Bud Light: Rock, Paper Scissors. Moral of the story: Bud Light shows why playing "Rock, Paper, Scissors" probably isn't the best way to determine who gets the last beer (grins)

Instead I was enjoying every last bite of my juicy steak! I'd even brought my books and laptop so I could study or get some work done, but between preparing, grilling and eating the steaks...time went by real fast so I didn't get much school work done. The game ended around 5pm, the Colts won and we got ready to head home. The rest of the night...I'd spent it mostly in front of the computer trying to complete all my assignments. Boo~ We even skipped dinner since we had lunch rather late...but before going to bed, my tummy started to rumble so I made a quick korean bowl of noodle with spicy broth to kill my hunger. I know it's bad to eat and go to bed right after...but it was late and I was hungry and tired. And yes, I woke up late in the morning and had to rush getting ready before heading out to the office. m u s t learn to go BED e a r l y! *sticks out tongue*

Sensible and down to earth...to sum it up, I guess I'm pretty much a "nice girl", hopefully in a good way, who's also a bit of a geek"
Here I am as perfect as I'm ever going to be.
You'll see, love me for me.
Stick around, I'm not the kind of girl you wanna leave.
