Happy weekend to all! Friday came and golly I have a full day ahead of me. Waking up in the mornings have become a little difficult the last couple weeks due to the cold weather. Since I am not a morning person, I don't enjoy waking up when it's so nice to be sleeping in. After dragging myself out of bed, I got ready and was on my way to the office. Since I had class in the afternoon, it would be a short day at work and I tried to complete as much as I could. I finally get to school, grab a quick lunch and then head to my first class of Finance 6000. The syllabus was handed to us and boy do I have a lot of work not only for this class, but for all three classes! *sighs* Didn't feel like cooking tonight, so R and I decided to have McDonalds for dinner...I was looking forward to getting their Mushroom, Onion and Swiss Quarter Pounder combo with a Coke but I guess the promotion had ended. So instead I got the Filet O Fish combo with a Coke and R got the regular Quarter Pounder combo with a Coke. I simply love...love the french fries!
It was yet another great night at Lotus Soundbar with Ritsuko and her friends last night. I met up with Ritsuko at 11pm, drove down to Waikiki and arrive at Lotus to find a long line at the entrance. We get in free (thanks Rob!) and it's equally packed inside. We head upstairs, get drinks and wait for her friends to arrive. It was the first time I actually could dance to house music and it's all because of the fantastic tunes that their special guest DJ, Dimitri from Paris was playing. You can here a sample of his music here and here, although the footage isn't all that good because the dance floor did not have as much lighting. It was totally off the hook and seriously good. We danced non-stop for almost 2 hours! I had good time and adding booze to the dancing made it much more fun! Since I was driving, I did restrict on getting drunk and out of hand, so all I had was 2 glasses of vodka-cranberry and a tall cool glass of Shirley Temple cocktail before ending the night around 3am. It was nice meeting the both of you...Jenny and Kerri. Looking forward to the next time for another party night! By the time I arrive home...my feet and toes were so sore (that's for wearing 2 and half inch stilts) but before getting into bed, I was good to remove all makeup, wash my face, brush teeth, wash my feet and changed into my sleep t-shirt.
