Oh gosh.. I remember mangos are everywhere in Hawaii!! Even fallen onto the roadsides.. I was taught how to eat mango properly, in Hawaii, by slicing off the two wider sides, to scoop off with a spoon, and then finishing off the middle section!
LB ~ hehe, can I ask when you were here ahh? I guess Honolulu don't really have mangoes everywhere unless you have your very own mango tree. Plus those little bugga cost a fortune here ~ $1.99 and up for one pound! Giler!!! I wish I was home...we have a mango tree that bears sweet mangoes! I miss home!!

angel ~ probably not for awhile...I'm having some issues with visa and what not so...it will be a while before I'll be back. Until...you and the rest can come here and pay me a visit ;P
I think I was there in 1990, for an entire month! But maybe not in Honolulu, mangos on the roadsides, but definitely on the Big Island. When we were drving around, I was absolutely amazed at all the fallen mangos everywhere! My friend told me not to bother picking them as there will be tons on the ground at his place too!! He was right. LOLOLOL! So gila! Free mango breakfast every morning/day/afternoon/evening/supper.. Could never get sick of them though!
i'm sure you'll have no problem learning how to do this Cons!
LB ~ so lucky lah! here, unless you live in a house with a backyard and have your very own mango tree...have to spend megabucks to score some decent mangoes! :) I must go to the Big Island someday soon!
