Is anyone else having problems trying to comment on my page? Jason told me that the comment box does not load up. Hmmph! I'm not sure if it's got to do with the new template or Blogger is just acting up! They have been down several times in this past week for maintenance. I can't even switch my blog over to the new version yet as it tells me that my blogs are not compatible or some BS like dat! Ohh well.

I'm glad you like the new layout; although I still haven't found the time to really work on it. I've been either too busy playing "Samurai Warriors 2" on the new Playstation 3 with R or just plain ol' LAZY! Ohh yeah, R got the PS3 (60GB) as his Christmas gift from his parents. Lucky eh? I helped the mom call around every GAMESTOP on the island as they were no longer accepting reservations and one will need to purchase it on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis (you can't even request to have one be put on hold and pay over the phone should they have it in stock at the store - you need to physically have your a$$ over there)...so yours truly made calls everyday; every hour unwillingly dilligently to find out if a shipment did arrive. And if it did, it usually sells out as fast as it comes in...yeah, like lightning!

So two weeks before Christmas, I called Ala Moana's store and so happen a shipment of PS3 just arrived. I quickly run over but the last unit had just walked out the door. Gawd fudge it! I curse softly to myself as I walk back to the office. So feeling frustrated and all...I gave up and said that "there's no way I'll ever get the d@amn PS3!" But after several minutes later...I change my mind and was determine to get it no matter what! I call around and it seemed that every GAMESTOP store got a shipment in that day. The only store that still had quantities left on hand were Hawaii Kai and Pearlridge. Both stores are at least a half hour drive considering it's almost 3pm (TRAFFIC). So I took a chance, and drove out to Pearlridge. I kept calling every 5 minutes, disguising my voice to check if they've sold the one so I can just turn around and not waste my time. I arrive and I'm at the parking lot...I call again and they STILL HAVE THEM IN STOCK! I practically run downstairs, enter the store, go up to the salesperson at the checkout and say "I would like to purchase one Playstation 3, please". He brings one out from the back, ring me up for $697; includes their warranty (OUCH!) and out the door I go...grinning like a mad fool!

I GOT IT, the box was heavy and huge...where to hide it without having him find it in our small apartment!?! Good thing I had large shopping bags...so I had like 5 bags covering after I'd wrapped it and I had it hidden next to the couch (I had my other stuff ~ books, papers and bags in that area; so he wouldn't look). Now, to call R's mom to let her know that R will get his PS3 for Christmas. Actually his mom did get the 20GB on Maui but I know for a FACT that he wants the 60GB so I figured I'd be a good girlfriend, do the work and it paid of in the end.

I got a lovely gift from R as well...the fella was sneaky to hide the Tiffany box in a bigger box...I shoke it hard (no sound) before ripping the wrapping paper off and to find the blue box. *grins* Now to have him get me the matching pendant :P

The weather here has been horrible...cold, windy and wet! There's been flash flood watch and advisory since Sunday so being outdoors does not seem like a good idea. It's perfect weather for cuddling and being in bed but then again I am not so lucky since I have to work and boy...have I been having some problems trying to get out of bed in the AM when it's so COLD....*brrrrr*
