December already! Um, how did it get to be December? I mean, seriously. Where are the days going? December is not my favorite time of year. It's cram-as-much-work-possible-in time. It's holiday time so running to the mall for something is almost painful. It's dark outside early. It's been cold too! There isn't much on TV (still waiting for CW to be assigned a channel!!). My finals are in 2 weeks and then I get to take a break as I refuse to register for winter session classes! I so need a time-out from school and studying!
But somehow it's a nice time of year too. I like the holidays. I put up the Christmas lights on our balcony (blue icicle lights) a couple days ago, and finally the tree and decorations yesterday. Once done, we watched "Jingle All the Way" on DVD to begin our annual Christmas movies marathon. Last year, R brought home a silly Santa hat so I'm considering to wear that to work. It'd make me smile and some of those grumps I work with might crack a smile too. Wha'cha think?
