I'm Back!

Wow! It's already June, half a year has gone by and it sure does seem that each day comes and goes really fast. I have or want to do so many things but I don't think I've accomplished all of it as of yet. That's because of my procrastination habit!
I haven't blogged for a while. The last time, I'd mentioned about my trip to Maui. It was really nice, the weather was perfect, the food was delicious, to add it up, it was much needed getaway for me for some rest and relax. We didn't do much, simply some sightseeing at Lahaina by Front Street and window-shopping at Kaahumanu Mall. Most of the time we spent it at home with Ryan's parents', just kicking back and taking it easy.
We returned to Honolulu on Saturday afternoon with plenty goodies to eat (Krispie Kreme doughnuts, Sam Sato's manju and Tasaka's guri-guri ice-cream) but with heavy hearts as we both didn't want to come back to Honolulu yet. Being home means we're back to our regular schedules of work and school, the same routine each day of waking up early, getting ready, rushing to work, and then coming home to cook dinner, relax, watch TV or play PS2 and finally bedtime. So until my next vacation, it will be work, work, work and more work!
I was sick during and after my trip, it was minor but what had lingered on was the blasted, horrible irritating dry cough. Every time I cough, it sounded like I was almost dying and always ending out of breath trying to control it. I think I went through about 3 packets of cough drops just to soothe my throat so I don't get into my fits of cough, but when I do, I simply hate the moment. Poor thing, I tried my best to stay away from Ryan, but somehow he managed to catch the bug and he became sick too. So for a couple days, we were sick together but continued with our usual routine of work and school.
Ryan's birthday was on May 27 but we celebrated it over the weekend instead where we had dinner at Tony Romas and went to the movies to watch Shrek 2 and Troy. We enjoyed both movies and looking forward to some good blockbusters, which is due to come out soon during the summer. Speaking of movies, I made a list of our DVD collection at home and well we do have a rather "large" collection with a total of 348 DVDs ranging from different genres; comedy, action, mafia, horror, sci-fi and TV boxsets.
Work has been all right, it has been slow except for this week due to all the incoming rent checks from our tenants. That's how it is anyways for every month on the property management side and I can't complaint! Another humbug is that a bunch of rentals will come available in July (Makiki, Waikiki, Waipahu, Mililani, Hawaii Kai & Waipio areas) which means the phones will be ringing off the hook and I'm not gonna be happy about it but hey if you guys are looking for a place, give me a holler! We may be moving as well by mid July or August as my boss has finally decided on an office space and currently am in the midst of getting everything together.
It's Friday today and there's no plans for us to go out tonight. We're planning to get take-out for dinner and stop by Blockbusters to rent couple movies. Will continue playing with the PS2 game; "Samurai Warriors" in the later part of the night and will also check to see if my mom will be online tonight to chat.
