It was yet another busy weekend of being outdoors rather than indoors like a good girl doing homework. We spent the whole of Saturday out in Waialua. Initially, we'd just planned to spend the afternoon with his grandpa, to have lunch and also to wash and polish R's car. Instead we ended up staying there until 6-ish, after having an early dinner with his dad and grandpa ~ where we grilled steaks on the hibachi again. Sunday, a day where I could have slept in but instead we woke up early to do some shopping at Sam's Club and then I was off to meet my group members at the school library. We work on our case study for a couple hours before heading our separate ways.
Additionally, this past weekend, the islands was host to the annual Honolulu Festival. It is its 13th year and most of the festivities was held at the Hawaii Convention Center, Waikiki Beachwalk and Ala Moana Shopping Center. I didn't check out all of that out but instead this time around I was able to see the parade with another girl from my group meeting (eventhough we were a little late getting there). It was schedule to begin at 4.30pm but we didn't arrive until a little past 5pm. As usual, there was traffic on the roads due to its closure for the parade. Anyway, I met another friend there and he told me, we didn't really miss much so we decided to walk down Kalakaua Avenue before settling in front of Sheraton Hotel to continue watching the rest of the parade. Below are some of the pictures I took at the parade. I'd even bump into Ritsuko as I made my way to the bus stop after the parade...she'd just gotten off from work. A nice suprise!
and...I do mean Welcome! Selamat Datang! Aloha! I extend a warm welcome and am glad that you could stop by and read my blog. It simply contains general musings and ramblings about things that concern and/or interest me.

"So you want to know me? Romantic and logical ~ Loyal and always true ~ Funloving crazy and very quiet when needed ~
Sensible and down to earth...to sum it up, I guess I'm pretty much a "nice girl", hopefully in a good way, who's also a bit of a geek"
Here I am as perfect as I'm ever going to be.
You'll see, love me for me.
Stick around, I'm not the kind of girl you wanna leave.
You'll see, love me for me.
