Aloha! It's another Friday! The beginning to a long 3-day weekend :)
This past week was a rather mellow one ~ what kept me busy mostly were my weekly class assignments. So far...classes have been all right. It's just a matter of time before I'll start sweating, cursing and wishing I'd taken some other subject. Nothing exciting to report except my boss treating us "small but very important people" from the office to chow down some great grubs on Valentine's Day. The venue ~ Makino Chaya; the newly open franchise at Aloha Tower. There are two other locations; Pearlridge (which I'd eaten awhile back) and Mililani. I think I had 5 plates total since it's buffet ~ an assortments of sushi, salad, OYSTERS, mussels, crab legs, tempura, and more. Thank godness, R and I weren't planning on eating out that night! Otherwise...I'd would have to be carried home because I'd be too lazy to walk! Nothing special was planned...we didn't even exchange gifts...all we (actually I) wanted to do was to eat somewhere nice. So, instead of eating out on Valentine's Day, we figured postponing it to the next day would be much better and less crowded! However because I wasn't feeling too good (a terrible throbbing headache caused by my contact lenses) we decided to cancel and will make it up for another day.
