Panya Bistro Last night, I met up with fellow blogger Ritsuko and decided to have dinner at Panya Bistro at Ala Moana mall. It's a trendy, east meets west kinda retro-hip spot where you'll find a bakery upon walking in the door, a restaurant in the middle and a bar towards the back. Their menu serves a mix of Japanese, Chinese, Thai, American, Malaysian, & Italian cruisine which includes a variety of pastries, sandwiches, salads, Asian noodles, pasta and even some local comfort favorites like the Loco Moco and Oxtail stew.
As we were ordering, we were warned that the food portions isn't your regular serving size and with that we decided to share our meal. So we started of with a platter combo (calamari rings, gyoza and crab cristoni) for appertizers, caesar salad and a Thai beef curry with white rice. It was good!! With so much food for dinner, we simply did not have room for dessert. Ritsuko, thank you for a great time and it was super cool getting to know you! Let's do it again sometime soon.
FYI: "panya" means bread shop in Japanese.
and...I do mean Welcome! Selamat Datang! Aloha! I extend a warm welcome and am glad that you could stop by and read my blog. It simply contains general musings and ramblings about things that concern and/or interest me.
So kick back, click away and don't forget...enjoy your visit!
"So you want to know me? Romantic and logical ~ Loyal and always true ~ Funloving crazy and very quiet when needed ~ Sensible and down to earth...to sum it up, I guess I'm pretty much a "nice girl", hopefully in a good way, who's also a bit of a geek"
Here I am as perfect as I'm ever going to be.
You'll see, love me for me.
Stick around, I'm not the kind of girl you wanna leave.
You'll see, love me for me.
