We had "perfect" weather on Saturday ~ where we could actually see & feel the blue skies ~ considering it has been a whole week of gloomy wet weather. It was a nice break! We decided to take a slow drive around the island and enjoy the sun. Later in the evening, we met up with Ryan's dad & grandpa to have dinner at Kabuki.

It was a whole different story for Sunday though...we woke up to another round of heavy showers! Because of the rain we missed out going to the zoo. So we made ourselves comfortable (yet again) on the couch and watched a couple DVDs; Antz, A Bug's Life, Shark Tale and the season finale of Dawson's Creek. The heavy continuous showers flooded homes, roads and filled up streams. The forecast calls for more expected showers and possibly thunderstorms to continue throughout the new work week. Not cool!
