Yes...the tale of the Ewing family and their Texas oil empire coming is to the big screen and while watching Entertainment Tonight last night...it revealed who is being considered to play the devious oil tycoon J.R. (JOHN TRAVOLTA), Sue Ellen (JENNIFER LOPEZ), Bobby (LUKE WILSON) and Miss Ellie Ewing (SHIRLEY MacLAINE). Dallas was one of the many favorite TV shows I watched while growing up.
Another adaptation to hit the theatre is Miami Vice, a story of two undercover Miami police named James "Sonny" Crockett and Ricardo "Rico" Tubbs. The trailer was mean and I'm really looking forward to its premiere this coming July, where the movie version puts Colin Farrell as Crockett and Jamie Foxx as Tubbs. The movie is about a new look at how those two cops would fight crime today. A lot has changed in the 20 years since the TV show Miami Vice took America by storm. Miami has grown. The drug war has changed. It's said to be darker and grittier, will be fast and hot and we will find out come this summer!
