This three-day weekend, I...
slept in on Saturday, too lazy to make breakfast/brunch so decided to have Jack In The Box breakfast meal (because they serve breakfast all day!!) instead
watched Smallville while having breakfast; which I had downloaded and burned onto a DVD because they did not air it on their usual Thursday schedule due to UH's college basketball
played X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse on the PS2 with Ryan
watched Guess Who, bought korean takeout for dinner and watched both SAW & SAW II again
woke up early on Sunday to go SHOPPING at Waikele Premium Outlets. They were having super mega sales due to the holiday...and as usual...I went nuts and overspent!!! I returned home 4 hours later with 2 handbags & a black leather IPOD mini case from Coach and 2 gaucho pants from Bebe
did some grocery-shopping at 99 Ranch Market and Longs Drugs
cooked chilli with hot dogs for dinner and watched The Upside of Anger
slept in on Monday, had a whole pot of coffee to wake-up, prepared ingredients for dinner ~ beef stew ~ to be cooked all day in the slow cooker and my first attempt at making kimchi (a traditional Korean super spicy side dish of chinese cabbage with the flavor of garlic, ginger, scallions and chilies) on my own!
cleaned the apartment, played some more X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse, lounged on the couch with the TV remote
control in my hand, had dinner ready by the time Ryan came home from work and watched 24 which I had recorded earlier on VHS
It was the President's Day weekend; Monday being the additional day of rest ~ the day that honors George Washington and all the other former presidents. I love three day weekends - three much needed days away from work ~ lots of time to think, reflect, be lazy, chill and SHOP!!! So, I apologize about the lack of posts over the weekend. I hope to be up to full speed by tomorrow. What did you do with your three-day weekend (if, in fact, you got a three-day weekend)?
