i hate mondays!

well it's another start of a new work week. hmmm, i wish i was at home, in bed, under my nice, and warm comforter, SLEEPING! i didn't get to sleep in over the weekend as we had stuff to do and hence getting up early so we were able to get it out of the way. Ryan had to take to take his car in to the shop as he had gotten a flat tire, didn't have a spare so he had to get a new one. We weren't sure how long it would take or even if they had the right tire, so we were told it's best to come early, 8.30am! So after dropping the car off, we got breakfast at Jack in the Box and came home. Weren't sure of what to do or where to go, I started to wrap my mom's present for Mother's Day so I can drop it of at the post office. Have you even been in a situation where when you are looking for a particular thing, you can NEVER find it until when you don't need it as much and it suddenly pops out of nowhere? Well, we couldn't find the packing tape and we searched the whole apartment for it! After moments of some swearing and raging, we drove to Ala Moana. Figured since we were there, I go pay the cable and roadrunner bill, stop at Hilo Hattie for my parents' birthday gifts and finally the packing tape and wrapping paper at Longs! Came home, continued with the packing and close to 12.30pm, we get the call that Ryan's car is all done. So once I got done with my packaging, we went to get Ryan's car, dropped it off at the apartment and then drove to the post office by the airport. Relieved was the feeling I had as I should have done this a week earlier but as usual I got lazy but nevertheless, my parents' will be getting their presents (hopefully) soon! We were planning to have dinner at Likelike, but I had gotten all comfortable being at home, so instead we drove to Zippy to get take-out instead, came home and watched "Love Actually" on DVD.
Sunday, we went to visit Ryan's grandpa out in Kapolei at his uncle's home. We stop in Pearl City to have lunch at Kabuki's. There was a mixup with Ryan's order and he was raging for awhile at the server as well as me since I kinda told him he should have been more clear to the person serving us. Anyways, we managed to have a decent meal and before we headed out to Kapolei, we made a pitstop at Circuit City as I wanted to get a DVD which supposedly was on sale. Come to find out it won't be on sale until Tuesday, as we didn't READ the tiny print on the ad! So we will have to drive out there again on Tuesday to get my DVD "Uptown Girls". "The Last Samurai" and my first season of "Gilmore Girls" comes out on Tuesday as well so we will get to browse more but come to think of it, we wil try to rush home as American Idol will be on at 7pm! Hoping for Jasmine to go all the way! Came home about 3-ish after some shopping at Longs, did some minor cleaning in the kitchen and started to cook dinner, or should I say Ryan cooked chilli for dinner. We continued the night watching "Sopranos" on HBO, "Alias" and "The Practice" on ABC.
The day is going by slowly today so it isn't too bad. Milton is away on a business trip so there's isn't really all that much to do. He'll be back on Friday but not sure if he'll come into the office that day or on Monday. Oh well, I better get back to work and pretend to look like I'm working (sighs). take care!
