the weekend was spent playing xtreme legends on PS2, watching a sneak preview of "13 going on 30", eating out and a nice drive to Kapolei to visit Ryan' grandpa. As you can see, we didn't really do anything productive but we had fun nevertheless. On both Saturday and Sunday, we spent some hours in the afternoon playing that horrid Dynasty Warriors 3: Xtreme Legends again, these time attempting to get the fifth weapons for the few characters that we frequently play or at least, Ryan thinks will be an advantage getting so we can use that as our strong second player. After many attempts, controllers slamming on the carpet, the yelling and cussing, we finally succeded and got 2 weapons. We've tried this before and yes, the outcome everytime, stays the same; sometimes getting mad at each other because of the game! Out of the 41 weapons total, I think we have about 8 or 9 so far. This is no easy task compared to getting the 4th weapons playing DW3 as we are now playing on this "extremely hard" level. We will continue to try every day and hopefully get it all by the week of May as there's this other game that Ryan has his eye on that's coming out then. He wants to complete this so he can start on that, and it's called "Samurai Warriors" the Japanese almost exactly same version as Dynasty Warriors.
"13 going on 30" was funny and interesting. I love Jennifer Garner and thats why I had to watch this movie. The movie shows how making the wrong choices can dramatically effect what could possibly go right in life in a negative way. It about learning that 'having it all' is not enough and deciding to take a second chance. A recommended movie for all, so go watch! after the movie, we went to Anna Millers for dinner and had a free slice of fresh strawberry pie for dessert; I shared it with Ryan (yum!!)
We visited Ryan's grandpa at his uncle's home in Kapolei on Sunday. We almost got lost but somehow manage to find our way to the house. By the we got there, grandpa was already in bed resting, so we didn't stay too long and instead let him rest. We stayed a little longer as we were given something to eat and drink and also managed to watch the Masters where Phil Mickelson wins his first green jacket. We were going to drive out to Circuit City to buy some DVDs only to find out they were close for Easter. So we headed home to play more Xtreme Legends. happy tuesday everybody!
