Things have been really slow on this side of the island, or should I just be more precise as say, it's me, I'm the one procrastinating! That's how I am, when I start something I stick with it for a few days,tinker here and there, getting to know it well, and if possible master it. And then, I start to slack off, don't know why but it's become such a habit. Not entirely a bad one, but still not one should be proud to have!
Me and my parents; (mom especially) communicate via the internet; yahoo messenger. This is a very good thing being that I'm here in Hawaii and she's still back in Malaysia. Before they (my parents) decided to invest and upgrade the computer at home, a large chunk of my change was spent calling home whenever I could. Now that we can keep in touch more frequently, the only thing that keeps us apart from chatting is the time difference. Malaysia is 18 hours ahead of Hawaii, so to make it easier to calculate, I minus 6 hours but add one day for Malaysian time. So I have to stay up (usually around 11pm and after) and home on the weekends to chat with her as that's the only time she can chat with me. Well, we've missed each other the last 2 weeks, and we haven't really chatted with each other since February, because she has been busy. So instead we email each other with updates and now come to find out she's free to chat again. It is good, but we'll miss each other again this weekend as I'll be away so we made an appointment for next Saturday, the 27th.
Speaking of me being away, this will be Ryan and my first trip together to Vegas. We leave on Friday for 4 nights. Can't wait! I'm a little cautious though since there's this mysterious virus outbreak at California Hotel in downtown and no one really can pin point what, how or where the source of this particular virus, it's really a great concern. Luckily we're not staying there, but still!! We will try to not this bother us as much and instead enjoy each other's company.
