Tuesday was Graduation day and I've already blogged about that. It was a good day but all too long and tiring. I was happy to finally get home around midnight, undress, wash my face and go to bed.
Woke up late Wednesday morning, got ready and headed out to pick RY's mom and my family before driving into Diamond Head for lunch at the Outrigger Canoe Club. My co-worker, S, is a member there and she wanted to treat all of us, including my other co-workers to lunch. Again, I think I'm getting old and forgetful. I had my camera out on the table but didn't take any pictures of the food ordered or even a parting group shot. Yup...I'm getting old.
After a really hearty lunch, we head on over to the Ward area for some window shopping. After several hours later, we head on back to our apartment to relax before going out again. This time to drop RY's mom off at the airport for her flight back to Maui. It was a short visit but am happy and grateful she was able to come.
Thursday...I let my family do their own thing. They went shopping in Waikiki at the International Marketplace and Hilo Hattie. And they used the free shopping shuttle and got to experience a fun, narrated trolley ride! I met up with them later at night at the condo as my dad cooked us dinner: FISH HEAD curry!! They showed me all of the items that they had purchased earlier in the day and even my Mom had a good time bargaining with the Chinese shop ladies for a cheaper price. To be continued...
