Before I go on, I must shout out a HUGE "thank you" to Rho, Jon, Angel, Melissa, Simon, May, K and Jaxon for your congratulary wishes from my previous post.
With that said, I must get back into the groove of blogging regularly now that I'm officially done with college.
So my family flew here to be with me for my graduation and the 10 days that they were here, went by too fast. They arrived early Sunday morning and after dropping off their luggage at the condo-unit they were staying at, I drove all of us into Chinatown. We first started with a hearty dim-sum breakfast at Mei Sum restaurant and then walk through while shopping for grocery so they cook and save $$$ instead of eating out. Before heading back to the condo, I'd thought I drive through Waikiki first but somehow there was something going on and traffic into Waikiki was at a standstill. Literally.
We return to the condo, and I end up taking a short nap while they unwind, unpack and enjoy the breathtaking ocean and mountain views from the 36th floor. We end the day with more grocery shopping at Don Quijote and pizza for dinner. To be continued...
