It's been three months since the "hair cut" and gosh...my hair got somewhat longer in that short span of time! It is also a little out of shape where it was starting to frizz and curl where it is not suppose too and I am getting too lazy to have to deal and style it everyday with styling products and what-not. When we (Ritsuko and I) met for lunch, of the many conversations we had, one was about our hair and the idea of having a trim since it's getting really hot due to the current summer weather. Plus, the length and how it started to fall onto my face when I'm at work, bothered me a lot so much so that I had to tie up what little hair I had into a tiny ponytail. But then the shorter strands would not hold and eventually fall back on my face. Argh!
I asked Ritsuko again if she was still planning to cut her hair and we finally made an appointment with her stylist, Jamie to have our hair done together last Wednesday. Me being the undecisive and fickle-minded girl as to how I wanted my hair to be cut so I sought out the assistance of hairstyle magazines...tagged a few styles and brought one particular magazine along with me so I could show Jamie the potential hairstyles for my hair. Instead of looking at the styles I had tagged, she told me how she planned to cut my hair and I just trusted her. First, she shampooed and conditioned my hair. Then, she brought her scissors out and made magic with my hair. I sat patiently for about 20 minutes before I saw the end result. She even taught me how to blow dry my hair without having to style it too much. I must say...I was impressed! Thanks Jamie, you did a fantastic job! Now to decide if I should go back and have some highlights done...
Next was Ritsuko's turn. I had school that day but had a couple hours left to spare so I stayed until Jamie was done with Ritsuko's hair. First, Jamie did some minor coloring and touch-ups on Ritsuko's hair. After letting it deposit in for about 30-minutes, she goes on to shampoo and condition before the actual cut. What do you think? Did Jamie do a great job or what?
Okay, enough procrastinating...I have to get back to studying for tomorrow's midterm. Ohhh, I am so not prepared! *sighs*
