Please don't end! Last night, I watched the series finale of my favorite show ~ Gilmore Girls...I was really sad and a little disappointed watching last night's episode; you can tell the story was meant to continue and not end abruptly like it did. On the other hand, it did have some closure ~ leaving us feeling like Lolerai's and Rory's life is moving towards a good direction. I am disappointed the show is ending with such short notice. I wish they could come back with another season... *tear*
Gilmore Girls was first aired in October, 2000. After seven seasons, the show is done. No more Lorelai, no more Rory and no more Lorelai and Luke! In fact, I didn't start to watch it until mid-season of Season One, but ever since that day, I've been hooked. Gilmore Girls is a humorous, heartfelt, multi-generational drama about friendship, family and the ties that bind. The show revolves around this strong, warm and loving mother-daughter relationship and it's really a relationship that one would hope to have with one's own mother or daughter (a constant reminder that together, they can endure anything). Who knows...when I have a daughter of my own someday, we can be a Lorelai and Rory duo.
It's been great while it lasted; goodbye Lorelai, goodbye Rory...goodbye Gilmore Girls. Now to wonder and ponder what I can do on Tuesdays at 7pm...
