Tuesday ~ First day back to school and this semester I am taking 3 classes; Law, Accounting and Quantitative Methods (which I later dropped and added International Business Management). It's going to be busy for the next four months with individual essays, quizzes, group cases and presentations and term papers. Argh! Argh! Argh! Can you already tell that I'm not liking school anymore?
I meet up with Ritsuko later in the evening for dinner at Singha Thai Cuisine in Waikiki. I'd found a coupon in the newspaper for an early bird special; where you can buy one dinner entree and get the second one free only if you're seated in the restaurant by 6.30pm. We look at the menu...as usual...plenty selections of exotic Thai cuisine so we must decide what we should order.
In the end, we pick the Chicken Sate with Thai Peanut Sauce and Cucumber Salad as our appetizers, Thai Red Curry with Chicken, Bamboo Shoots & Fresh Basil and Pad Thai Noodles with Shrimp, Calamari, Crab Claws, Scallop and Bean Sprouts. I even ordered a tall glass of refreshing Thai Iced Tea. The food was good, although I must say the portions was small in comparison to its price tag and the curry was not spicy at all. The restaurant also features Royal Thai Dancers that perform nightly from 7 to 9pm who are trained in the ancient art of Thai classical dance to entertain us while we dine. Unfortunately for us...only one dancer was performing that night as the other dancer did not show up because she was stuck in traffic.
