Hi C, I can relate to this - tight budgeting is not fun but that's how it is, life goes on. I'm not an expert into how I handle my money, I screw up all the time.
You're right on point. Too bad free (no prerequisites for the consumer) online bill pay isn't more widely available. Most banks I'm aware of either charge monthly fee or require direct deposit; though I think Washington Mutual offers it free with any checking/savings acct (I don't bank with them - they've been intriguing me lately though). My friend got bill pay free since she worked for a bank and she loves the fact that the bank mails out her checks for her - rent, utilities, etc.

bills are a once-a-month deal -- as soon as the salary goes into the bank, they're outta there too! sigh...
snglguy ~ exactly! I want lotsa moolah to keep for myself instead of spending it all for bills! *grr*
angel ~ I kinda have a system where I clip together all bills that needs to be paid each month and I kinda know the dates off hand already as to when they should be paid. It's just a matter of "remembering" and now that I've gotten so busy...my mind is always stuck on studies and nothing else seem to be able to penetrate through (LOL)
The bank doesnt provide auto-pay service meh? Like every 7th day of the month, it will auto pay all the bills? At least my dad used it for Astro's and a few more. Save some hastle.
