Paying bills won't likely ever be anyone's favorite chore!

Few things can cause as many headaches as a seemingly endless stack of bills, all clamoring for attention. Paying bills can be a drag, especially when the process is a chaotic one, involving a hunt for checkbooks and stamps, worrying about paying on time, and making sure there's enough money in the bank to cover everything.

Boy...do I hate paying bills! It's an inevitable job that needs to be done and there are no way around it.

when money is tight *sigh* Paying bills wouldn't be such a drag if you have lots of moolah! Hi C, I can relate to this - tight budgeting is not fun but that's how it is, life goes on. I'm not an expert into how I handle my money, I screw up all the time.

It's a headache. From mortgage, rent, utilities, groceries, loans, insurance medical costs.. arrghhh.

Only if we want to get rich and sleep easy.. You're right on point. Too bad free (no prerequisites for the consumer) online bill pay isn't more widely available. Most banks I'm aware of either charge monthly fee or require direct deposit; though I think Washington Mutual offers it free with any checking/savings acct (I don't bank with them - they've been intriguing me lately though). My friend got bill pay free since she worked for a bank and she loves the fact that the bank mails out her checks for her - rent, utilities, etc.

I'm always so afraid that I'll 'forget' to pay any of the bills and a few months ago, I did forget to pay my IndahWater bill!

you got to do your finances online, babe :) bills are a once-a-month deal -- as soon as the salary goes into the bank, they're outta there too! sigh... snglguy ~ exactly! I want lotsa moolah to keep for myself instead of spending it all for bills! *grr*

K ~ if only if it were that easy to get rich and sleep easy! yups, it's a pain to keep track of all bills to pay!

nikki ~ your friend is lucky! yeah...most banks charge a fee for their bill payment feature! I guess it's worth paying that fee if you have plenty bills to pay and not have to worry about it...just got to make sure you have the sufficient funds in the account. I'm too stingy! I rather make myself go crazy and be sure I have them paid myself ;P angel ~ I kinda have a system where I clip together all bills that needs to be paid each month and I kinda know the dates off hand already as to when they should be paid. It's just a matter of "remembering" and now that I've gotten so busy...my mind is always stuck on studies and nothing else seem to be able to penetrate through (LOL)

neko ~ I pay some online...it's just the fact of remembering to pay it; i rather do it myself than have it autopay! ;P

may ~ aiya...so damn true lah! $$$ come in...can enjoy for abit seeing those large digits...and then $$$ go out...feel poor all over again! *grrr* every month consuela.. every month. good thing i have friends to do it for me. hahaha <--- user does your bank do online bill paying? at least that could be one less headache, looking for the stamps. jason ~ got, but I'm too much of a cheap-sake and tak mau bayar the monthly fee ;P

I rather deal with the headache! the only bill i'm really worried about is my credit card's. i've maxed it out and now i can't use it. darn. lol ... too bad they aren't free! vina ~ I know that feeling!!! ;}

J ~ yeah...too bad they aren't; well they do have an introductory 3-month free trial period but after that the monthly fee kicks in.
