Okay...so I wasn't able to sleep last night, so I stayed up and watched the VMA's on VHS...and finally went to bed around 1.45-ish. I was dreaming about...when I heard this *loud-knocking* sounds that woke me up. I didn't think anything of it when Ryan comes into the bedroom, and tells me that the downstairs neighbor came to inform that there's a leak in the bathroom area and that someone come downstairs to her unit to have look at it. I looked at the alarm clock; it's only 6.13am. Damn!t...
Ryan was getting ready to leave for work, so I basically got up, changed and went downstairs. She takes me to her bathroom, continues to explain that she heard loud dripping sounds this morning and there's a wet spot on her bathroom ceiling; above the bathtub. There was a light water stain as well and I told her that I would inform my landlord and see what needs to be done. So I go back upstairs, explain to Ryan, we say our goodbyes & he leaves for work and then called my landlord to let him know of the situation (left him a voicemail). I lay down for abit thinking I can nap for awhile before I had to get ready for work. Wrong...I was so awake that I simply got up and went to take a shower.
As I was walking to my car, my cell phone rings, caller-ID tells me that it is my landlord and he asked if the downstairs neighbor will home today (not sure but she works at the store in the building & to check there first), if he can go into our unit, and find out what's wrong (yup...although I'd prefer to be there...but go ahead). He calls back again around 9.45-ish at the office letting me know that he'd schedule for a plumber to come by tomorrow morning to check on the pipes between our apartments. So now we wait to see what the problem is. *Keeping my fingers cross*
