"How time flies..."
Wow...it's June 15th today! Half a year has gone by and now we have about another 6 months or less to prepare for Christmas! What joy! (I think not!) It's only Wednesday but I'm already wishing it was Friday! What a week it's been so far. There just seems so much to do and simply not enough time to complete them (almost all of it!). Work has been more hectic than usual because of the added responsibility with my real estate listing. We have a one bedroom for sale out in the Pearlridge area; (the timeline of things done) - listed the apartment in MLS on Wednesday, did the open house on Sunday, received several offers by Tuesday night (all offering above asking price), met with seller's this morning to go over all of the offers received, finally we made a decision for the highest bidder and we responded with a counter-offer for certain items pertaining to the DROA. So now we wait to see if the buyers will accept the counter. If they do...then we will be opening escrow by Friday or next week Monday. (Phew!)
Ryan and I did finally find a place to move to by the end of the month. It's in the neighboring building; simply located behind of the building where we're currently staying at. It's slightly bigger than what we have right now and includes most of everything that we were looking for...utilities included and even a washer/dryer inside the unit. As a result we are now busy packing things away in boxes (I still can't figure out how I've come to collect and keep so much JUNK since I move here 9 years ago!!) and making a solid decision as to what will be taken to the new apartment and what will be thrown out or donated. We're both feeling relieved that we did find a place, a little frustrated because of the whole moving ordeal but also a little excited because we'll be starting over in a new apartment unit. I do hope we won't have to ever move again in the near future or at least not until either one of us finally do decide to purchase our own place. I simply hate to have pack, move and to unpack again!
Right now...I'm tired, hungry (I’ve been skipping meals for a while now...) and stressed out! I hope to have things wind down soon so I can take a breather and relax. I so do need a vacation...a really long one...and hoping to take one before the end of this year!
