This time around, we didn't really go out as much while we were in Maui. Only on Friday did we go out, first spending some ungodly hours at Walmart for the after Thanksgiving holiday sales. Then, we return home to pick Grandpa and spend a good part of the day taking a drive through upcountry. First we headed to a town called, Paia. It's a small town, with some attractive old buildings and stores - art galleries, craft shops and restaurants, the majority of which are within easy walking distance of each other and am told that the residents there comprise of a very "mellow" group, consisting mainly of local Hawaiian families, "hippie" types, surfers and windsurfers.
Next we drive through Makawao town. There's plenty of open space within the neighborhoods where a large part of it is surrounded with cattle and horse ranches. The old buildings there houses a variety of wonderful art galleries, shops and restaurants as well.
Finally, we head towards Kihei where I'm told lies some of Maui's most beautiful beaches. We made a quick stop by some stores to stretch our legs and Ryan tells me that the Safeway store there is the state's largest store.
It was a perfect sunny day; excellent weather to be at the beach! We didn't go by Wailea this time around, but it houses one of the exclusive shopping centers - The Shops at Wailea and some major five-star hotels. We head home and on the way, we got McDonalds for lunch.
We were supposed to go out again after lunch, but I started to doze off after lunch, so instead we stay in and I took a nap. Ryan later went out at night with the boys for some drinks. I didn't feel like going so I stayed in and spent time with his parents. Saturday, we went window shopping at Kaahumanu Mall with Ryan's mom and later at night we went to the movies and watched "The Incredibles".

Sensible and down to earth...to sum it up, I guess I'm pretty much a "nice girl", hopefully in a good way, who's also a bit of a geek"
Here I am as perfect as I'm ever going to be.
You'll see, love me for me.
Stick around, I'm not the kind of girl you wanna leave.
You'll see, love me for me.
