Our office was open half day on Christmas Eve, and we will be closed on Monday but in spite of everything, I'd wish we didn't have to work on Christmas Eve. It was a slow day and I was counting down as to when I can finally leave and head to the airport. My flight to Maui was at 1.55pm but since I'd gotten there and checked-in early, I was able to switch to an earlier flight. At long last of all the many days & hours of waiting and anticipation, I reach Maui and am immediately on the phone letting Ryan know that "I'm finally here!" So we stopped by Longs at Kahului to give Wayne his Christmas gift and then off, we go home. After a hearty lunch of burgers and fries from Jack in the Box, Ryan and I head downstairs to finish up the last minute touches to all of the presents. The rest of day was spent taking pictures of all the Christmas decorations, the tree as well as the presents (which I will post at a later time), Ryan putting up the lights for the displayed villages
We attend midnight mass at St. Anthony's Church in Wailuku. The choir starts to sing Christmas Carols as soon as we find our seats. The Christmas decorations were simply beautiful and they had 2 Christmas trees at the altar and it was rotating. How cool was that? I'd wished I'd brought my camera to take pictures. Anyways, the church quickly filled up and mass finally begins at the stroke of midnight. The service was beautiful and it did go by fast. We decided to drive around Kahului town area after the service ended to see the decorated Christmas lights but everything was turned off; being that it was a little after 1am. A little disappointed, we start to head home.
Christmas morning came fast, and everyone gathered by the Christmas tree with much eagerness to exchange and opened each other's presents.
Santa was good to all of us this year! Many thanks go out to Ryan and his parents' for the loads of lovely gifts I received. Later in the afternoon, Ryan and I decided to watch a movie and we ended up watching "Ocean's Twelve" at Maui Mall. After the movie, we met up with one Ryan's friend and hung out for a little bit before heading home. The night ended with us having a great big dinner of potato salad, honey ham, steamed carrots and potatoes, and roast with gravy and later we watched "Rounders" on DVD. It was an overall happy and blissful day and hope you all had a great Christmas too!

"So you want to know me? Romantic and logical ~ Loyal and always true ~ Funloving crazy and very quiet when needed ~
Sensible and down to earth...to sum it up, I guess I'm pretty much a "nice girl", hopefully in a good way, who's also a bit of a geek"
Here I am as perfect as I'm ever going to be.
You'll see, love me for me.
Stick around, I'm not the kind of girl you wanna leave.
You'll see, love me for me.
