I just heard on the radio that H-1 freeway is closed at Vineyard because police are investigating the death of a toddler as witnesses said that they saw a man throw the infant from the Miller Street pedestrian overpass. OMIGOD! I just finished reading this and I'm feeling so sad yet angry for this horrific act on an innocent life. Traffic is a mess just about everywhere in town so avoid being on the roads if you can, otherwise just be prepared to have a longer than usual driving time to whereever you need to go.
Just yesterday there was another possible case of domestic violence fatality, where a woman was brutally beaten to death by a man (believed to be her ex-boyfriend) using a rifle or shotgun in Kailua and this is just a week after the fatal stabbing of 39-year-old Jenny Hartsock of Kalihi, whose husband has been charged with murder. What is this world coming to? Such tragedies like this should not and never happen especially here in Hawaii, a beautiful paradise of an island!
