Fly, Fly Away...

My trip back to Kuala Lumpur was via Japan Airlines (JAL) and had to deal with layovers in Narita, Japan; overnight when going to Malaysia and a day (abt 12 hours) on my return back to Honolulu. Accommodations at Hotel Nikko Narita were provided so at least I didn't get stuck just wandering at the airport and was able to see some of the sights in Narita town. The flight to Narita was a little unpleasant because the plane was full and not really all that comfortable. The food...I don't particularly enjoy having anything to eat on the plane because it just doesn't taste good and I end up getting sick. I guess I should have just order alcohol (since it is FOC) and gotten drunk and slept through the flight! But then again I didn't want to arrive in Narita with a hangover so I just hung in there and watched "Bewitched" to kill time. I wasn't feeling well when I finally arrived in Narita, so after going through immigration and customs at the airport...waited patiently for the hotel shuttle, checked-in, took a long hot shower and slept through the next morning, just in time for breakfast! I was also able to check-in for my flight from the hotel, and requested for a window seat and also if I could get an empty seat next to me if the plane wasn't all that full. Once done, I simply went around the hotel area...taking pictures and wondered to myself if I had enough time to go down Narita town to see the sights. I decided not too so instead I stayed in the room, watched Lilo & Stitch on DVD and finally left for the airport around 10-ish.
