"Spritz 'n tell: Are you a spice girl or salty lady?"
Deep inside our psyches lurks a "fragrance personality", according to Perfumania. The beauty retailer theorizes on why some people might be drawn to floral perfumes and others prefer fruity scents:
- Those who enjoy classical music, country vacations and pink are best suited to floral scents because they're often the most feminine.
- Fans of R&B music, lakeside resorts and the color green might favor crisp "green" scents from natural oils found in plant leaves and stems.
- Those who enjoy rock 'n roll, spa treatments and yellow might appreciate fruity scents, especially as a daytime fragrance.
- Sushi lovers, beach bums and those who favor blue might gravitate toward oceans scents that are warm, salty and fresh.
- Jet-setters fond of spicy food and red satin sheets might find a fragrance match in woody scents that conjure up images of bark and moss.
- Those who enjoy jazz, exotic island getaways and purple may favor Oriental scents that are sexy and intense with hints of musk, vanilla and heavy flowers.
So, which one do you fall under? I have to admit I don't have one particular scent that I am really drawn to but I do have some favorite brands that I'm always checking for new scents. In fact, under each of the above listed categories; I had a liking to one or two particular items where I can peg myself under. A few of my favorite fragrances are:
