Am a little late but I hope you all had a wonderful Merry Christmas. I know that I did. Our trip to Maui was fun but too short. We flew over on Saturday night...after Ryan got done with work. We arrived there just in time for dinner and were treated to a feast. Ryan's mom had prepared the most splendid yuletide dinner possible ~ turkey with gravy and stuffing, cranberry sauce, potato salad, pork and beans & bread rolls. It was de-li-ci-ous! I wonder if I will ever be able to prepare such a feast without getting completely stressed out!
We woke up early Christmas morning; first to have breakfast and then to exchange & open our presents. I usually hate getting up early, but since it's Christmas and I could hardly wait to open gifts under the tree...the tearing of wrapping paper & ribbons, and opening of boxes took almost 2 hours...but hey, it was worth it as I really got some great gifts this year. Everyone else liked all their presents as well. Later in the day, we drove out to Kihei for some sight-seeing and then came home to help Ryan's mom prepare dinner. Tonight's menu ~ Rib Roast ~ yum! After dinner, we decided to watch a movie and settled on "Cheaper by the Dozen 2". It was good but lacks the funny actual comedy of the original. Nevertheless, it's a fun, silly, upbeat, and sentimental movie worth watching with the family. We were up early on Monday morning for shopping. After Christmas shopping and fireworks! As you can see, we are well prepared to bring in the New Year with a bang!
I'm looking forward to another long weekend (we fly back to Maui again tomorrow night) and also to read all about how your holiday season was spent as soon as you guys get back to your normal blogging schedules! "So you want to know me? Romantic and logical ~ Loyal and always true ~ Funloving crazy and very quiet when needed ~
Sensible and down to earth...to sum it up, I guess I'm pretty much a "nice girl", hopefully in a good way, who's also a bit of a geek"
Here I am as perfect as I'm ever going to be.
You'll see, love me for me.
Stick around, I'm not the kind of girl you wanna leave.
You'll see, love me for me.
