It's December, time for much merriment and gift giving. Gift-giving is a near-universal part of Christmas celebrations. One of the most common gifts of all is the toy. The ball, the doll, the kite, and the yo-yo are thought to be the oldest playthings, and human and animal figures -- sometimes mounted on wheels and dating as far back as 2,600 BCE -- have been found in ancient Egypt, India, China, and Mesopotamia. So give in to your inner child, give a toy (to yourself even - toy for the grownups, PSP or Xbox 360) and just let the wonders of the gift-giving season take over.
There is much joy and gaiety as everyone celebrate the birth of Christ with parties, carolling and evening mass. Streets, hotels and shopping complexes are decorated with brilliant lights and ornaments to create a yuletide atmosphere. The spirit of giving extends beyond homes and individuals as hotels, shopping complexes and corporate companies hold concerts and shows as well as organize charity drives.
The holidays are associated with family and togetherness -- a wonderful time for families to gather, reconnect, and celebrate. Visits to and from relatives, late evening gatherings, and last-minute trips to over-crowded shopping malls! I have to admit, as much as I love the holiday season, I get just as depressed when its over. I get terribly homesick. It is impossible not to be homesick -- I miss my family, I miss my mom and my dad! All of a sudden, this place seems too far away. One of the downsides of being so far away from home is not being able to visit my family on a whim.

"So you want to know me? Romantic and logical ~ Loyal and always true ~ Funloving crazy and very quiet when needed ~
Sensible and down to earth...to sum it up, I guess I'm pretty much a "nice girl", hopefully in a good way, who's also a bit of a geek"
Here I am as perfect as I'm ever going to be.
You'll see, love me for me.
Stick around, I'm not the kind of girl you wanna leave.
You'll see, love me for me.
"With a birthday on the 5th of the month you are inclined to work well with people and enjoy them. You are talented and versatile, very good at presenting ideas. You may have a tendency to get itchy feet at times and need change and travel. You tend to be very progressive, imaginative and adaptable. Your mind is quick, clever and analytical. A restlessness in your nature may make you a bit impatient and easily bored with routine. You may have a tendency to shirk responsibility".
